Yummy

We just had the most awesome stuffed pork chops. So awesome in fact, that I must post their recipe.

Ingredients:
4 thick bone in pork chops
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of salt (I used 1/2 teaspoon of season salt to try to make it lower sodium)
1 small yellow onion, chopped
2 tablespoons of dried parsley
1 can of beef broth
I also used garlic powder
5 tablespoons of melted butter (split into 3 tablespoons and 2 tablespoons)

Steps:
In a bowl mix the bread crumbs, sugar, pepper, salt, parsley, onion, and garlic powder. Add the melted butter (3 tablespoons) and stir until mixed.

Take a porkchop and split it in the thick area so that it can be stuffed. Place the mixed stuffing in this area, filling fully. Close using toothpicks.

In a skillet melt the other two tablespoons of butter. Brown the porkchops, 5 minutes on each side over medium heat. Add the beef broth to the skillet and simmer on low for 30 minutes.
Remove toothpicks and add some of the broth to the pork chops as a gravy.

Easy and delicious!
