Let me finish my unfinished post before I rant about my car.

So, we drove into the park and saw the previously pictured animals/creatures. Finally, we got to Atalaya.

Atalaya was the winter home of the Huntingtons. The wife had TB, so her doctors recommended that she get away from the cold winters of New England. The Huntingtons purchased a huge amount of land that now is the areas of Huntington Beach Park and Brookgreen Gardens. Both of them are awesome to see (Particularly the Nights of a Thousand Candles at Christmas) and I highly recommend that you see them when you come to the Myrtle Beach area. She was an artist (I can't remember her name...Anna?) and he was a writer.

It was getting ready to rain while we were there, so some of these pictures are a bit dark.

Atalaya is a popular place for weddings today.

We finished up at Atalaya and headed down to the beach where we watched some birds and people play and just in general walked. (Nice and relaxing!)

We ended the evening with a beautiful sunset and bonding time with two puppies!
